Strategy as a continuous learning process
Many organisations treat strategy as a plan made once every few years. After that, execution begins.
But in a world of technological acceleration, geopolitical uncertainty, resource scarcity and shifting markets, strategy no longer works that way.
We believe strategy is not an arithmetic exercise, but a continuous learning process.
Organisations continuously learn from their environment and from their own actions. From that learning process a strategy emerges that keeps evolving: a 'rolling' strategy that makes the organisation agile and resilient.
We support organisations in setting up a double learning cycle. In this cycle organisations continuously adjust their strategy based on two sources of insight: the world outside the organisation and the experiences from execution.
The first cycle focuses on the outside world. Together we explore trends and uncertainties. Think of geopolitical developments, the impact of technology or the choices of a competitor. By developing scenarios a better understanding emerges of the different ways the playing field can look.
Are we still doing the right things?
The second cycle focuses on execution. Together we reflect on goals, initiatives and results. A smart steering model and instruments like OGSM help translate strategy into concrete goals and actions, so learning and adjusting become possible.
Are we doing things right?

Of course we develop together a concrete, distinctive and supported strategy that is ready for implementation. Sometimes as a report, sometimes a video or a poster. The strategy always contains a concrete execution plan.
A strategy gives direction and energy and at the same time it should not be a static plan. It is a direction that develops through new insights from the environment and through execution in practice.
We're happy to support you in setting up a signalling function to detect impactful changes early, for example via an AI agent. We also help set up a rhythm of doing, learning and adjusting. We join annually to reflect on the strategy. That way strategy keeps getting better.
