
As a maker and inventor of wood-based solutions, WEBO is a frontrunner in its sector. WEBO makes window frames, timber-frame elements and scaffold-free solutions, and builds complex and large projects. Sustainability is central to all of this. The ambitions for the period ahead are clear in broad terms, but a sharp formulation and a clear plan with the right ownership to get to work in a focused way over the coming years were missing.
Through a short but powerful trajectory of three strategic sessions over six weeks we got hands-on. The broad lines of the strategy were already fairly clear to the management. In the first session we sharpened and challenged them. The following sessions focused on the translation into a plan on a page, using the OGSM method. The result: a shared picture of WEBO's objective, the strategic pillars that go with it, and concrete actions for each pillar with timing and owners. WEBO can get to work in a focused way.
"We needed a clear and sharply formulated plan. Not a woolly one, but one with bite. We chose the OGSM approach with Jester because they deliver a real product in which our entire annual plan and our long-term goals fit on a single A4.
