Sharpened strategic directions

2025 / 2026

The strategic period 2022 to 2025 of Rouveen Kaasspecialiteiten was coming to an end. Because the current strategy has proven successful and fits the current market conditions, the decision was made to extend the current strategy by a year.

The existing strategy, aimed at offering a high-quality range of unique speciality cheeses and realising an above-average milk price for member farmers, still forms a strong basis. There was, however, a need for a targeted review and sharpening within the existing frame.

Rouveen Kaasspecialiteiten therefore asked Jester Strategy for a strategic outlook for 2026: an update of the strategic direction that is both inspiring and future-proof, allowing the organisation to move forward with confidence in the coming year.

Over a four-month trajectory, Jester Strategy worked with Rouveen Kaasspecialiteiten to sharpen and prioritise the strategic directions for 2026. In a series of working sessions the core team, facilitated by Jester Strategy, reviewed the current strategic results and analysed both the market and the internal organisation. This process led to a clear strategic outlook for 2026, including the nuances and priorities needed to make effective use of the extra strategic year.
