Louwman & Parqui

Business model analysis for strategic choices

Louwman & Parqui is the Dutch importer of the Japanese car brands Toyota and Lexus. To set clear priorities for budgets and annual plans, we ran a business-model analysis together with Louwman & Parqui.

Working with Jester, Louwman & Parqui went through three steps: analysis of the current business model based on interviews and workshops, analysis of the future business model with a working group using a Gap-Importance Matrix, and prioritisation of the roadmap based on the gaps between the future and the current business model.

Throughout the trajectory we used the Business Model Canvas and the Gap-Importance Matrix Jester developed specifically for Louwman & Parqui. This matrix shows which parts of the business model are most important for prioritising the roadmap.

The trajectory produced a description of the current business model, the future business model and a prioritised roadmap for Louwman & Parqui. The strategic frameworks and statements provide Louwman & Parqui with a clear means of communication towards its stakeholders and partners about its future course.
