Strategic choices and decision making

The Consumentenbond helps consumers make the best choices and stands up for their rights, among other things by comparing and testing products and services, advocacy, collective claims and legal advice. With the current strategy (2022-2024) running out, the Consumentenbond wanted to renew its strategy. Challenges such as how to respond to changes like artificial intelligence and the shifting wishes of consumers were things the Consumentenbond wanted the new strategy to answer.

Just like last time, we applied our Strategy CUBE to support the Consumentenbond in strategy formation. This time however we chose a more interactive approach with a broader group across the organisation. We ran a Strategy Summit: an intensive, interactive two-day session that accelerated the process and increased buy-in. Various stakeholders took part in plenary and separate formats. The Consumentenbond's strategy team then worked together with Jester Strategy to build the strategy on the basis of the Strategy Summit's input.
